We are 2nd & 3rd generation Appaloosa & Quarter horse breeders. We have continued the breeding program of Sylvia's father, Gordon Cox, who was one of the first Appaloosa breeders in the state of Minnesota. We breed for Quality In conformation, disposition and color. Our horses are imprinted as foals...ready to go on and make a marvelous performance partner.

Sylvia's Step-father Floyd, passed away at the end of January, 2008. Her mother, Gesina, did move in with us, at the ranch, after we added on to the house. She just got settled in when she broke her hip. Things are finally getting back to some what normal , Mom is back home with us now.
And the TRAIL RIDE IS ON!!!
Brush Poppin' Ranch hosts an annual trail ride in the beautiful bluff country of Southeastern Minnesota. 2009's trail ride is October 2nd-4th. Trail ride Flyers will be mailed out. Or Click to Open the PDF, Fill it out and Mail to BPR.
Good News
The Bull Law suit has been dismissed against Brush Poppin Ranch .
It was dropped against the Land owner earlier because of the recreational use act.
